Pilar de la Horadada is located 3 kilometers inland from the beach at El Mojon counting. The resort is approximately 25 minutes' drive north of Murcia San Javier Airport and approximately one hour's drive south of Alicante Airport. Pilar de la Horadada is ideally located near the safe sandy beaches of the Mar Menor. The area is mostly agricultural; surrounded by market gardens, orchards, citrus groves and farms. It is the southernmost town on the Costa Blanca and there has been a lot of development there in recent years. The town has a large and varied selection of apartments by the sea, but there are also interesting, newly built townhouses and detached houses that can be said to be priced very reasonably.
