Pilar de la Horadada is located 3 kilometres inland counting the beach of El Mojon. The resort is approximately 25 minutes drive north of Murcia San Javier Airport and approximately one hour drive south of Alicante Airport. Pilar de la Horadada is ideally located close to the safe sandy beaches of the Mar Menor. The area is mostly agricultural; surrounded by orchards, vegetable gardens, citrus groves and farms. It is the southernmost town on the Costa Blanca and there has been much development in recent years. The town has a large and varied selection of seaside apartments, but there are also interesting new build townhouses and detached houses which can be said to be very reasonably priced.
