The real estate market in the Murcia region is taking a giant leap - sales increased by 57.4% between May 2024 and May 2025.

There has been a significant increase in real estate transactions in the region of Murcia, with sales increasing by a whopping 57.4% in May 2025 compared to the same month the previous year.
This once again indicates the high confidence of buyers and the ever-increasing demand for real estate in the Murcia region.
This significant increase reflects a vibrant market, driven by highly competitive property prices, renewed interest from foreign investors and the continued appeal of Murcia as a destination with a high quality of life. Permanent residences have also increased by 23.1% and it appears that a growing number of property buyers are choosing the Murcia region as their home.
Employees at Spanish Homes report growing interest from Icelandic buyers in the region, especially in the area around Los Alcazares, where people are attracted by the 320 days of sunshine a year, beautiful beaches and a much lower cost of living compared to other areas of the Mediterranean.
