information

Roda golf stands out to some extent from the rich flora of golf courses in question in the Alicante area - but, extremely fun; the course is located on the Costa Calida, is connected to the coastal area there and an elegant holiday home complex. The course is a par 72, it is 5819 meters long of yellow tees, 5244 of reds and the designer is the renowned Dave Thomas. There is not much underlying terrain in the field itself, it lies on flat ground, but Thomas had much more freedom. There are various water obstacles and it is not good to play directly by sight. Here you need a well-thought-out game plan if you are not going to get into trouble and even boldness at times - if you want to score. It is likely that every club in the bag will be swung.

The first hole sets the tone. A pair of five holes, about 500 meters long and those with a longer stroke must immediately decide whether they are going to try to fly the ball over a bunker on the right or try to hit safely to the left. The second shot needs to be accurate to prepare for the putt because the green is well protected by a large bunker on the left side from the golfer's point of view. And so you can count on.

The seventh hole is exciting to say the least, actually rather scary if people are that way, the green is out on an island and about 170 meters long. The green is in front of the clubhouse, so being shy is not enough.

As mentioned before, the course is connected to a luxury holiday home complex by the beach. The clubhouse is in the style of this; on two floors and richly furnished: Award-winning restaurant, shop, dressing room, sauna, showers and TV room. Guests do not have to be bored at Roda golf.
