Mar Menor Golf

Holes: 18
Length: 6153 meters
About 72
information

The Mar Menor golf course is extremely fun. The course was originally designed by renowned golf course architect David Thomas, that is the first nine holes, but when it was rebuilt and renovated, it was Nicklaus' design team that managed the work.

This is an exceptionally beautiful course, characterized by white and large bunkers and palm trees as well as ponds. This is a par 72, the first nine holes are 3,275 meters and the second is 2,878 meters and is then based on the white tees. It's two birds with one stone; play a course designed by both Thomas and Nicklaus.

The course was inaugurated in 2005 and marked the beginning of the famous Nicklaus Design trail, which consists of golf courses and vacation homes across Europe. The project is called Polaris World and consists of designing a golf course and a settlement, shops, bars and restaurants; everything that fulfills the golfer's dream. There was therefore considerable ambition put into the design. And that results, among other things, in the fact that every single hole is special and the golfer has to keep his concentration the whole time; play well. Numerous obstacles will be in his way and ponds play a big role. Daring and strong nerves come in handy on this field. The lake area around the 13th, 14th and 15th holes is particularly impressive and people need everything there.

The location of the stadium is Torre Pacheco, Murcia which is only ten kilometers away from Murcia Airport. Next to the stadium is a five-star luxury hotel with the same name, and there you can find a spa, hot baths... in fact, all the relaxation possible, as well as an elegant restaurant.
