information

The Hacienda Riquelme golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus himself, who was given a completely free hand. The design of the course is thought out and makes great demands on the golfers, they need to master various types of shots and handle most of the clubs in the bag. This is not necessarily a field for beginners. Bunkers and water hazards are not an option at Hacienda Riquelme.

The course was inaugurated in 2007, it is a par 72 and 6416 meters long if compared to the white tees. Large ponds, so big that you can even talk about lakes, leave their mark on the course and are a must in the game. Big bankers and deeps are also characteristic. Their edges are usually very rough, so it can be difficult to get out of them.

The fairways are relatively wide, but that doesn't mean that people can play carelessly, if golfers want to get a good score, they have to plan their game carefully.

The greens are in the style of Nicklaus; large but in them there are many fragments. Some of these lie on several platforms, and if people are relatively accurate in their iron shots, they should by all means make use of their skills when hitting the greens. And try to find the flag because there are three-putts, something that those who have played Hacienda Riquelme know too well.

The environment of the golf course is a pleasant, desert landscape and around the course there are popular holiday apartments. Hacienda Riquelme is a complete concept, which means that at the course you will find most things that can make a golfer happy. Shop with golf equipment, the practice facilities are very good; putting green, practice bunker and hitting lanes. In the clubhouse there is a nice restaurant and cafe - in Spain it is considered that people treat themselves well with food and drink after a round of golf.
