information

Bonalba is a green course located right on the beach: Playa de San, on the outskirts of the city of Alicante. It is therefore a view of the sea that welcomes golfers at Bonalba.

The course is 6.096 meters long of yellow tees, 5329 of red tees, par 72 and the designer is Ramon Espinosa. The course was opened in 1995, so this is an old course. Palm and pine trees are all around and inside the course to mark the fairways. The whole area is extremely lush.

Bonalba has been the scene of many golf tournaments and is considered quite difficult. The slope is 132 compared to the yellow tees, so you can imagine how difficult the course can be. The first nine holes test every golfer's technique, three of the course's five ponds require par; holes 6 to 9 are called by the locals Amen Corner. If people escape from there fairly unscathed, there is a good chance of a good score.

The second nine holes are longer and it is more likely that the sea breeze can make a difference. Bonalba is a diverse and beautiful course.
