information

The Alenda Golf Course was inaugurated in 1997, a par 72, 6.257 meter long course and is designed by Roland Favrat. He emphasized that the course was in the utmost harmony with the environment, the course lies on the slopes of the Aguilas Mountains by the Mediterranean Sea, which means that there is considerable landscape in the Alenda Golf Course as well as a view of the sea. The field was opened in 1999, so it is not considered old, but it is well established.

The course is well designed considering that it is not far from the green and the tee of the next hole. So it should be possible to maintain a good game speed on Alenda. The first nine holes are relatively comfortable, of medium length with wide fairways framed by carob, palm and pine trees, but the course takes a few turns on the second nine holes; it gets crowded and the golfers have to have their concentration in perfect order; there it is more important to be on track than to hit far.

The 16th and 18th holes are dangerous and can easily ruin a good scorecard. The greens on this very enjoyable course are interesting. They are fast and there is a lot of terrain in them, so you have to calculate the putting line with some skill.

This is a course that is a favorite of many who have played it, it is considered suitable for most people wherever they are with their handicap. And the care and maintenance of the field is excellent.

At the course you will find excellent training facilities, a putting green, a specialist shop for golfers, an elegant restaurant with an emphasis on a Mediterranean menu and a brilliant cafe where you can have a coffee or a cold one on the terrace with a brilliant view of the golf course.
